Silk Route Tour Package 03 Nights 04 Days

Itinerary:

Day 01: Pick up from Airport / Railway Station and reach Sillery Gaon via Kalimpong. After lunch an optional trek / drive to Damsang Fort or Tinchuley View Point / Pedong Monastery. Stay overnight at Sillery Gaon.

Day 02: Before breakfast, an optional trek of 30 mins to Ramitey View Point to view Mt. Kanchenjunga & River Teesta in one frame. After breakfast start for Zuluk covering Reshi-Khola, Rongli (for inner-line permit), Lingtam, Que-khola waterfalls, Nimachen and Padamchen. Stay overnight at Zuluk.

Day 03: Witness the changing colours on Mt. Kanchenjunga from Lungthung Sunrise Point (optional) & back to Zuluk for breakfast. After breakfast proceed to Lungthung covering Ganek & Thambi View Point. Stay overnight at Lungthung.

Day 04: After breakfast start completing the Silk Route trail covering Laxmi Chowk, Gnathang Valley, Kalapokhari, Tukla Valley, Old Baba Mandir, Yak Golf Course, Ice-Hockey ground, Jelep La Pass View Point, Kupup Lake, New Baba Mandir, Hangu Lake & Tsomgo (Changu) Lake & reach Gangtok.

Precautions and Keep in Mind Before Going for Silk Route Tour

  1. Need to carry essential things like jackets, socks, warm hat, sleeping bags, mosquito nets, gloves, torch, lotion, tents etc.
  2. Need to carry some backup daily foods if required like biscuits, cakes, chocolates dried fruits, electrolytes, nutrients etc.
  3. Carry some essential medicines like paracetamol, indigestion and anti vomiting tablets, lip balms, mosquito nets, band-aids, anti septic cream, moisturizer and other whatever you need.
  4. Since its remote place you can’t expect luxury meals, facilities etc.
  5. Carry sweaters woolen garments, gloves and caps.
  6. For children and elderly person not to stay in high altitude area as it might create headaches, dizziness and vomiting.
  7. Carry sun glasses, power bank, first aid box etc.
  8. Need to carry original and copy of Id Proof like Votar ID Cards or any Government ID including passport size photograph for Silk Route Permit. For minor carry ration card or birth certificate.
  9. Always try to keep clean and don’t throw waste everywhere.
  10. Carry enough cash with you as you might not get too many ATM’s.
  11. If you are like to smoke try to avoid public places as it’s is severely forbidden in Sikkim. If you desire you can take own liquor before travel with you as there is very limited of liquor shop during the Silk Route trip.
  12. Kindly do not throw plastic or garbage bags and don't claim lavish items.
