In case you are travelling by train you need to get off at Asansol or Barakor station. Take any transportation from the station that will take you to Garpanchkot; this will be an hour-long journey. If you are travelling by car, you need to get on the NH2. After you have crossed Asansol take a left and get on the road that leads to Raghunathpur. From there you need to reach to Satbari stop and travel for a few kilometres along the village route.
When in Garpanchkot you have to visit the Panchet dam. It is the largest earthen dam with few concrete spillways. The blissful 4,232 square mile lake formed due to the dam is a must-see place. The dam is just a few kilometres away from our resort. You also need to visit the Maithon Dam, 22 kilometres away from Garpanchkot. It is stretched out to a 22 square mile area and is formed by a 50 m high and 4700 m long dam on the Barakar River.
